Fenestraria (Baby Toes)

Description:   I haven’t listed the cultivar of these as you cannot tell without them flowering, these are colloquially known as “baby toes”. As with others in the mesemb family these are very sensitive to over watering and should be kept in a very high grit content substrate.

Light:   Can tolerate full sun once acclimatised.

Watering:   Only water when the leaves are visably wrinkled or deflated.

Hardiness:  This specimen is not fully UK hardy. It will tolerate cool temperatures but is frost tender.

Shipping:   All plants will be sent bare root and well packaged. Every care possible is taken when shipping plants but some damage may occur in transit, this is most noticeable on plants with thick farina which may become marked when parcelled.
